Ginger Detox Bath
2. Add 2 Cups of Epsom Salts. Epsom Salts are a combination of minerals, primarily magnesium sulfate. Magnesium is essential for multiple body functions. Magnesium Sulfate aids detoxification by strengthening the body’s own detoxification methods and opening up primary detoxification pathways. It also helps eliminate heavy metals from the body, increases the body’s ability to eliminate toxins through the digestive tract, and increases the production of digestive enzymes produced in the pancreas. It will also relax your muscles.
3. Add two ounces of ground ginger. Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory that increases blood circulation and helps promote the elimination of toxins through sweat, (you can also use 2 Ginger Tea bags if fresh Ginger is not readily available. When feeling like my allergies are worsening, I will drink Ginger Tea while in the bath).
Make sure you are drinking a lot of water before and after these baths to keep your body hydrated while it’s working at flushing out your system. And please do not take more than 2 of these baths a week. It can be extremely dehydrating.
